The RedMagic Astra 2 gaming tablet, previously known as the RedMagic Gaming Tablet 5 Pro in China, is launching in European markets today. What are the prices?
In European markets, the RedMagic Astra 2 tablet is available in two color versions, light and dark, called Black Eclipse and Silver Starfrost, and with two memory options. The 12+256GB model costs $749 or €699, or 3040 PLN, while the 16+512GB model costs $849 or €799, or 3475 PLN.

What does the RedMagic Astra 2 tablet offer? The device has a slim (less than 7 mm) and lightweight (just over 360 g) metal casing, with a transparent insert revealing part of the active liquid cooling system, with striking LED backlighting and air bubbles floating in the liquid. It is the first tablet to be cooled this way. A 13-megapixel camera is also hidden within the transparent bezel, while an 8-megapixel selfie camera with a miniature lens is integrated into the narrow bezel along the long side of the screen. The long side, as well as the bottom of the device, also features two USB-C 3.2 ports. Symmetrical stereo speakers with DTS:X Ultra and X-Axis vibration damping are also present. The 9.06-inch OLED screen has 2.4K resolution, a 185 Hz refresh rate, and up to 1600 nits of brightness. It also features Star Shield Eye Protection Technology 2.0, a touchpad with 2000 Hz sampling rate and 300 Hz multitouch.

At the heart of the tablet is the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor, supported by Red Core R4 and RedMagic CUBE Sky-Piercing Game Engine 3.0 coprocessors, improving gaming performance. Power is provided by an 8300 mAh battery with 80-watt charging. The tablet also has a fingerprint reader in the power button and a programmable switch that enables gaming mode by default, making it easier for gamers. The device runs RedMagic OS 11.5 based on Android 16, but no update policy has been announced yet. We've already tested the tablet for you!
