Without much fanfare Samsung has unveiled on Samsung’s Taiwan website a new model Galaxy Core Plus. No noise accompanying this release is not surprising, because the new model, although theoretically carries the designation "Plus" is a weaker version of the previous Galaxy Core.
In Galaxy Core Plus working memory is reduced from 1 GB to 768 MB, and the inner ROM disk shrunk by half - from 8 to 4 GB. Fortunately there is a microSD card slot... Core Plus is equipped with unchanged dual-core processor clocked at 1.2 GHz, the display hasn't been changed as well. Like its predecessor it measures 4.3 inches and has a resolution of 800x480 pixels. The smartphone also received a 5-megapixel camera, a front VGA webcam and the style does not differ from the other models of the Galaxy series. The final difference - this time to speak at the benefit of "Plus" – is a newer version of the operating system. Galaxy Core Plus uses Android 4.2, while the base model had a system in version 4.1. The price of the novelty will be around $ 270, but there are currently no plans to sell this model outside of Asia.
