The advanced, rugged display is made in new technology. The display is not the only strong point of this model. The rest is also quite good. The heart of the phone is a 2 GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor, supported by 3GB of RAM. Motorola Droid Turbo 2 also has a whopping 21-megapixel Sony IMX230 camera with lens aperture of f/2.0 and two-color LED flash, as well as a 5-megapixel front webcam. The equipment will be offered in two versions - with internal memory 32 or 64 GB, but in both cases the carrier will be expanded using a microSD card. The prices will amount to 624 and $ 720, but of course with the operator contracts the phones will be cheaper. For the power supply there is responsible the 3760 mAh battery, and a kind of curiosity is the fact that the model will go on sale with Android 5.1.1 and later it is expected to receive Marshmallow. This is an unusual move by the manufacturer known for offering mobile phones with latest software versions...

Motorola Droid Maxx 2 is a much cheaper design - for $ 384. In this case, as the main advantages there is emphasized: the battery with a capacity of 3630 mAh, a 21-megapixel camera and coating the phone components with a layer that protects the electronics from moisture. Let me start with the last thing: the nano-coating protects the phone against water inside in case of rain or accidental splashes. The manufacturer points out that this is not synonymous with resistance to water. In turn, the battery has a quick charging mode, and its large capacity is to provide two days of the phone work without having to recharge. The third advantage - the camera - seems to be the same as in the model described above. It has 21 megapixels, dual LED flash and lens f/2.0. Incidentally, the front camera is also the same, 5-megapixels.

And the rest of the specification? In Droid Maxx 2 we will find a 1.7 GHz octa-core Snapdragon 615 processor, 3 GB of RAM and 16 GB of flash memory with the option of expanding with a microSD card of 128 GB. Also in this model, we have for a start Android 5.1.1, as well as the promise of a quick update. Both smartphones will be available exclusively in the US in the Verizon network, with contracts starting at $ 16 per month.
