Samsung plans to renew the model Z1 operating under the control of Tizen. Samsung Z1 is together with the model Z3 the most famous device of the manufacturer with this system. Z1 (2016) will probably be only a slightly improved device.
The Korean manufacturer renews and refreshes quite a lot of low- and medium budget models slightly modifying their specifications. However, information available on the Z1 (2016) contains the promise of AMOLED screen like in Samsung Z3. Let me remind you that the first Z1 has a PLS display. It is unfortunately the only information concerning the specifications.

The biggest surprise is probably the manufacturer's decision to continue the line of devices running Tizen. Clearly, there remains a need for some kind of alternative to Android, at least in the cheaper segment of the market. Who knows, maybe in some time we will see in stores smartphones with Tizen and slightly better specs than Samsung Z1 and Samsung Z3?
