Asus Zenfone 4 - European launch

The company has also unveiled Asus ZenFone 4 Max, which, despite its name, is positioned slightly lower and does not have a larger screen than the basic model. It has a big battery with a capacity of 5000 mAh. This, coupled with the simple HD display and the inbuilt Snapdragon 425 processor, powered by 2 GB of RAM, promises an impressive battery life without sacrificing battery life. ZenFone 4 Max also has a dual rear camera (13 + 5 Mpx) and a front camera with an 8 megapixel resolution.

However, this is not the end of the Zenfone 4 family. ZenFone 4 Selfie and Selfie Pro have also join the series.

Asusa ZenFone 4 Selfie and Selfie Pro stand out with dual cameras on the front. According to the naming, the Asus ZenFone 4 Selfie model has a slightly simpler array with 20 and 8 megapixel resolutions, while the Selfie Pro model features 24 and 5 Mpx matrixes. The unique feature of the two smartphones is also the rear camera - unlike the front, it is standard, single and 16-megapixel.

Although both models have many common features, they also differ a bit. Both have 5.5-inch screens, but with different resolutions. Asus ZenFone 4 Selfie has an HD IPS matrix and Selfie Pro - Full HD AMOLED. They also differ in CPUs: Asus ZenFone 4 Selfie has a Snapdragon 430, and Selfie Pro - Snapdragon 625. Other equipment is already the same in both models. The specifications include 3000 mAh batteries, 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of internal memory, of course with expandable microSD cards.

The icing on the cake is Asus ZenFone 4 Pro, the highest-priced model from the new family. It has a display of the same size and resolution as ZenFone 4, but made in AMOLED technology. The heart of this model is the 8-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor, with 6 GB of RAM and Adreno 540 graphics. The internal memory can be 64 or 128 GB, and there is also a microSD slot, and the battery has a capacity of 3600 mAh. Also in this model we have 24-bit audio, and the cameras are even better than in ZenFone 4. The front has 8 megapixels and the f/1.9 lens, while the rear one is dual, with 12 and 16 megapixel resolution. The camera can take photos with two lossless zoom, so we have to deal with lenses with different focal lengths.

It is also reported that ZenFone 4 smartphones will receive an update to Android Oreo. What's more, the update will also include Asus Zenfone 3.
