The Wiko X70 smartphone has been officially launched in China. It's a budget model, but it has features not typically found in this class of device.
What sets Wiko X70 apart is its support for satellite connectivity, powered by BeiDou. This feature, commonly found in flagship smartphones, works independently of cellular signal and can prove extremely useful in emergency situations.
On the front of the device is a 6.7-inch OLED display. This screen offers FHD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate, and is protected by Kunlun Glass.
The rear of the device houses a 50MP main camera, while the front features a 32MP camera for selfies and video calls. This model is powered by a powerful 6100mAh battery that supports fast wired charging at up to 40W. Despite this large battery, the device has a slim 7.6mm body and an IP54 rating, ensuring resistance to dust and water. Other notable features include dual-SIM support and a USB 2.0 port.
Wiko X70 is available in China in three colors: black, white, and light green. Customers can choose from three storage configurations: 8GB + 256GB, 12GB + 256GB, and 12GB + 512GB. The device's starting price is 1,599 yuan.
