A photo appeared on the web, supposedly presenting the Samsung Galaxy S9 packaging. And on the box – as usually – there is printed a lot of information about the phone...
Unfortunately, we are unable to verify the authenticity of this leak. All you know is that the picture appeared on Reddit and presents a package that looks like an authentic box in which Samsung packs its phones. Unfortunately, such an element is easy to counterfeit, so leakage can only be a "scam". Nevertheless - let's look at the text from the box.
It was pointed out that the screen of the phone is made in Super AMOLED technology and has a diagonal of 5.8 or 5.6 inches - depending on whether we measure with roundings, or only a flat part. Resolution - it's Quad HD. It was also mentioned that it was waterproof in IP68 class and headphones prepared by AKG. The same company also provided speakers for the phone - and here's the surprise: it will be stereo! The specification will also include 4 GB of RAM, 64 GB of internal memory and an iris scanner.
However, the most interesting is in the case of cameras. The front - there is no surprise – it has 8 megapixels. In contrast, the back will record movies in a super slow motion and will receive a 12-megapixel sensor and an optical image stabilization. It's nothing. Among the data there is information about two values of the aperture! The lens can have f/1.5 or f/2.4 - depending on the needs or lighting conditions. This solution has already been applied in the Samsung W2018 model for Asian markets - and now it will go to a wider distribution in Galaxy S9. Of course, provided that the entire leak has not been faked ...
