The first novelties of the fair was provided by Alcatel. Officially, it presented a new portfolio of telephones with FullView 18: 9 screens - Alcatel 5, Alcatel 3, 3V and 3X models as well as Alcatel 1X and 1C. See them live.
A distinctive feature of the new models is Face Key - face recognition technology - and an improved camera module with features that will allow the user to have more control over recorded photos and recordings, as well as how to share them. Alcatel also promises regular security updates - at least once a quarter - for all models from 2018.

The appearance of the new Alcatel line results from the new design philosophy, which was called SIMGANIC. It stands out due to its simplicity, style, well-thought-out details and the possibility of applying this philosophy in the whole new smartphone offer. Let's get to know its representatives.
Alcatel 5
Alcatel 5 is a smartphone with a 5.7-inch screen with an aspect ratio of 18: 9, with a metal unibody enclosure, an 8-core processor and a fast charging technology. It is equipped with a dual camera at the front with a wide-angle lens (120 degrees) and LED flash. A photo editing tool called Social Mode has also been added here, with various modes of modification and photo enhancement. The fingerprint scanner has been placed on the rear panel of the device and can also perform other functions: the shutter release or a shortcut for specific applications - you can assign specific applications or services to specific fingers.

Alcatel 3
Alcatel 3 is a model that provides features such as SmartCam or FaceKey and such equipment items as the FullView 18: 9 display and a fingerprint scanner, for less than 200 euro. The smartphone has rounded glass on the front and rounded edges of the casing to ensure convenient use of the device. It is equipped with a 5.5-inch IPS HD+ screen and a housing with a spectacular finish. It will be available in March in three colour versions: Spectrum Black, Blue and Gold - for the price of 149.99 euro.

The series is complemented by Alcatel 3X models - with a larger 5.7-inch screen, larger memory and a wide-angle main camera that will be available on the market at EUR 179.99 (Metallic Black, Blue and Gold), and Alcatel 3V with an impressive 6-inch 2K screen (2160x1080 pixels), a dual main camera providing a bokeh effect at the price of 189.99 euro - here we also have a choice of different housing colours, Spectrum Black, Blue and Gold.

Alcatel 1
Alcatel 1 is the most wallet-friendly series. Its representative is Alcatel 1X, with screen 18: 9, priced at less than 100 euro. The device will be equipped with a 5.3-inch screen and a 16-megapixel main camera. To ensure the best possible user experience, this smartphone will work under the control of Android Oreo (Go edition), a system designed for phones with weaker parameters.
Alcatel 1X has been priced at 99.99 euro - it will be available in April and will be available in three colours: black, blue and gold. A 3G variant of this model will also be released - Alcatel 1C, which was priced at 89.99 euro.
