There are reports on the web suggesting that Samsung Galaxy A72, which is expected to be launched in early 2021, will be the first A-series model to have a camera with OIS optical image stabilization.
Until now, we used to meet cameras that would provide OIS in high-end models. It is also not a popular solution in the middle shelf. But Samsung apparently intends to encourage consumers to its A-series by offering such a solution in the future Galaxy A72 model, although it may slightly increase the costs compared to its predecessor.
According to reports, the best A-series models will be the first to be equipped with OIS. The decision to improve the cameras in this series may be associated with the desire to compensate for the not very impressive sale of flagships with higher profits from the sale of mid-range smartphones. And OIS can encourage people who choose Samsung models and often use cameras in their smartphones.
