The new Sony Xperia 8 Lite model has appeared in Japan, which is actually a re-launch of the Sony Xperia 10 model from over a year ago with a slightly different specification.
Sony Xperia 8 Lite differs from the mentioned Xperia 10 only in fact with the rear camera. The new model features a 12-megapixel main module with f/1.8 aperture and an auxiliary 8 Mpx, f/2.4 camera. In Xperia 10 we had a 13+5 Mpx layout. Unfortunately, the information from Sony does not directly indicate the role of the additional lens, but it should be assumed that it is a portrait camera with a 2x lossless zoom.

Sony Xperia 8 Lite has a Snapdragon 630 processor, supported by 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of flash memory. The display, surrounded by a simple frame, measures 6 inches, has a 21: 9 aspect ratio and Full HD+ resolution, and above it there is an 8-megapixel selfie camera with f/2.0 aperture. The smartphone powers a 2870 mAh battery. Sony Xperia 8 Lite will probably only be available in Japan, and the price is 29,800 yen, or $ 280. There are two housing colours to choose from.
