iQOO 9, iQOO 9 Pro and iQOO 9 SE embark on a global journey

The iQOO 9, presented today in India, is a completely different model than the device of the same name available in China. The new model in some respects resembles the Vivo iQOO 9 Pro model known from China - but also not entirely. So what can we find in iQOO 9 Global? First of all, the Snapdragon 888+ processor and memory in the 8+128 and 12+256 GB sets. There is also the Extended RAM 2.0 function, which allows for virtual expansion of the operating memory at the expense of the internal UFS 3.1. The smartphone has Android 12 with the Funtouch OS overlay and a 2-year system update warranty and 3-year security support. iQOO 9 Global is equipped with a 6.56-inch AMOLED screen with Full HD+ resolution and refresh rates: 120 Hz image and 300 Hz touch. Power is provided by a 4350 mAh battery with 120-watt charging, and a 16-megapixel front camera takes care of the selfie. On the back we find a 48 Mpx main camera with gimbal stabilization, a 13 Mpx wide-angle camera and another 13 Mpx camera with a telephoto lens of approx. 2x. There are three housing colours and two memory versions to choose from: 8+128 for 43 thousand rupees and 12+256 for 47 thousand rupees. Converted to $ 577-630.

iQOO 9 Pro

iQOO 9 Pro enters global distribution almost unchanged. It has a 6.78-inch AMOLED WQHD+ screen, a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor and 120-watt charging. We also find two 50-megapixel cameras (main and wide-angle) and a 16-megapixel camera with a telephoto lens. The smartphone appears with the Funtouch OS 12 interface (instead of the original Origin), and you can choose from two memory combinations: 8+256 or 12+256 GB. The prices are respectively: 65 and 70 thousand rupees, or 873-940 USD.

iQOO 9 SE

iQOO 9 SE in turn, is a model similar to the Chinese Vivo iQOO Neo5S. It has a Snapdragon 888 processor and the same memory variants as the model described above. It also received a 6.62-inch AMOLED screen - also with similar parameters as in the model described earlier. The only difference is the sub-screen fingerprint reader: in iQOO 9 it is ultrasonic, and in iQOO 9 SE classic, optical. The SE version also differs from the base by the camera. It is triple, but without gimbal stabilization. Instead, there is a classic OIS, but the main matrix remains the same, the Sony IMX598. The 13-megapixel wide-angle camera remained unchanged, but the telephoto module was replaced by the macro camera. The power supply is provided by a 4500 mAh battery with 66 W fast charging. Prices for the 8+128 or 12+256 GB versions are respectively 34 and 38 thousand rupees, or USD 456-510.
