Shortly after its launch in China, Nubia announced the global distribution of the Red Magic 8 Pro gaming model. What does this smartphone offer and what are the prices?
Nubia Red Magic 8 Pro offered in global distribution is actually no different from the Chinese model. The smartphone arrives in a completely new style, different from previous models, and the manufacturer presents its refreshed logo.

The new Red Magic surprises with a screen with a narrow, even frame, in addition without an unsightly hole for the selfie camera. The camera is hidden under the screen - it has 16 megapixels, and the software is supposed to process photos so that they look almost like taken with an ordinary camera - without the fogging typical of under-screen matrices. The screen itself has a diagonal of 6.8 inches, Full HD+ resolution and a refresh rate of 120 Hz. This is of course an AMOLED matrix - but without the rounding that disturbs the players.

The heart of the Red Magic 8 Pro is the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor with LPDDR5x and UFS 4.0 memories and an extensive, active cooling system. There are also additional sensor buttons for players, as well as stereo speakers and a multi-axis vibration mechanism. The smartphone also received a triple camera, with the main 50-megapixel Samsung GN5 matrix with larger pixels and a f/1.57 lens. The other two cameras are similar to previous generations: 8 Mpx wide-angle and 2 Mpx for macro. Nubia Red Magic 8 Pro has a solid battery with a capacity of 6000 mAh and 80 W charging, and the role of the system is Android 13 with the proprietary Red Magic OS interface 6. Along with the new interface, there is a virtual assistant Mora, whose task will be, among others, presentation of notifications and enriching the interface with animations. Red Magic Studnio was also introduced - the ability to turn a smartphone into a microcomputer, similar to Redy For by Motorola or DeX by Samsung. Pricing and memory versions are as follows:
