According to what I wrote a few hours earlier, the Samsung Galaxy A24 has been officially announced by the manufacturer. It's time to verify unofficial reports.
Information about the launch of Galaxy A24 was provided by Samsung's Vietnamese branch . It has been confirmed that the smartphone has a 6.5-inch Super AMOLED display with Full HD+ resolution and image refresh rate, but there is no mention of the refresh rate - so it is probably 60 Hz. The screen is reported to have a brightness of up to 1,000 nits, which is good for this segment. As usual, Samsung did not specify the type of processor, limiting itself to specifying that it has eight cores and a clock speed of 2.2 + 2 GHz. Previously, there was information that it was MediaTek Helio G99. Vietnamese Samsung says that the phone will receive 6 or 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of flash memory with the option of using a microSD card. Let's remember that there were also rumors about 4 GB of RAM - so maybe this variant will appear.
The Samsung Galaxy A24 received a 13-megapixel selfie camera with an F/2.2 aperture and a 50-megapixel main camera with an F/1.8 aperture and OIS Optical Image Stabilization. It is supported by a 5 Mpx, F/2.2 wide-angle camera and a 2 Mpx, F/2.4 macro camera. All this is powered by a 5000 mAh battery with a 25-watt charging system, and Android 13 works as the system. There are four colour versions to choose from in Vietnam, but the price has not yet been announced. There is talk of around 200 euros.
