Vivo announced the adoption of an agreement with Nokia regarding the use of patents, and at the same time, the company also announced the launch of the Vivo V30 5G smartphone, which we recently wrote about.
The agreement with Nokia gives Vivo access to patents and 5G technology solutions owned by Nokia. At the same time, this agreement extinguishes any legal disputes in this field between both companies. Enough formalities, it's time to get to know your new smartphone!
Vivo V30 is an attractive, slim (7.45 mm) smartphone that is the global equivalent of the Vivo S18. The device is based on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 processor, supported by 8 or 12 GB of RAM and internal memory of 128 or 256 GB and powered by a 5000 mAh battery, charging with a power of 80 W. The smartphone is also equipped with a decent AMOLED display with a resolution 1.5K, 120 Hz refresh rate and brightness up to 2800 nits at peak. Vivo V30 is equipped with an interesting photography kit. It consists of three 50-megapixel cameras, which distinguishes the new model from the already mentioned Vivo S18. Both the front and two rear cameras (the main one with optical stabilization and the wide-angle one) offer the same high resolution, and the rear camera also has an advanced, multi-colored Aura Light illumination lamp. The system is Android 14 with the Funtouch OS 14 interface and a 50-month warranty of constant operation. This model will be offered in many markets around the world - but unfortunately not here.
