The interesting-looking gaming mid-range Infinix GT 10 Pro has just got a successor, presented during the global launch in Saudi Arabia.
Infinix GT 20 Pro has a lot in common with the recently reviewed Infinix Note 40 Pro, but offers more advantages typical of a gaming smartphone, focused primarily on performance and display. The GT 20 Pro processor is the semi-flagship Mediatek Dimensity 8200 Ultimate, supported by 8 or 12 GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 256 GB of UFS 3.1 internal memory, as well as the XOS 14 interface based on Android 14. In addition to the standard processor, Infinix GT 20 Pro also uses Pixelworks X5 Turbo gaming system, improving image quality and smoothness. According to the manufacturer, the smartphone is able to provide constant 90 FPS in Free Fire, Call of Duty (COD) and PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds (PUBG), and Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB), Genshin Impact, and Honkai: Star Rail can achieve up to 120 FPS. The appropriate temperature of the device is ensured by a cooling vapor chamber that is 73% larger than its predecessor.
The Infinix GT 20 has a slightly larger 6.78-inch AMOLED LTPS FHD+ screen than its predecessor with a smoother 144 Hz refresh rate and a maximum brightness of 1,300 nits. On the back we will again see colorful LEDs, lighting up in various configurations during incoming calls, notifications, charging and playing music, and even while playing some games - in PUBG, for example, the LEDs will light up differently when the player is aiming, shooting or driving a vehicle . This is a questionably practical function, but for people who want to attract attention with their smartphone. The flashy exterior of the Infinix GT 20 Pro will be available in three colour options - Mecha Orange, Mecha Silver and Mecha Blue.

In addition to gaming elements, Infinix GT 20 Pro will offer decent mid-range specifications similar to its predecessor. Its 5000 mAh battery can be charged with a power of 45 W, and the main 108 Mpx Samsung HM6 camera with optical stabilization will be used for photos, supported by two 2 Mpx cameras for blurring the background and macro photos, as well as a 32 Mpx front camera for selfies in hole on the screen. The smartphone is also equipped with double JBL speakers with DTS and Hi-Res Audio, 5G connectivity, NFC and offers a slightly better IP54 tightness than its predecessor.
The new smartphone can now be purchased in Saudi Arabia at a price of 1,299 rials (approx. $345, €325) for the variant with 12+256 GB of memory. It will be available in stores from May 1, and along with its premieres in individual markets, its local prices will also be announced.
