HMD's debut as an independent brand was not very spectacular, with the budget HMD Pulse series and the cloned HMD XR21 and HMD T21. The mid-range HMD Skyline inspired by Lumia already promises to be better, but the most innovations will undoubtedly be brought by HMD Fusion.
We have already heard about the element that makes HMD Fusion stand out from the crowd - the main role will be played by "smart outfits", i.e. replaceable physical modules that expand the smartphone with additional functions and at the same time diversify its appearance. Now we have the opportunity to learn more specific parameters - information published by the leakster on Twitter suggests that HMD Fusion will make sense equipped medium car.

The screen promises to be a bit more modest than the upcoming HMD Skyline - in the case of HMD Fusion (also known as Project Fusion), it is a 6.6-inch LCD with FHD+ resolution and 120 Hz refresh rate. However, the photo set is in no way inferior - the main camera has 108 Mpx, accompanied by an additional 2 Mpx camera and a 16 Mpx front selfie camera. The smartphone is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon QCM6490 processor, an extended-life variant of Snapdragon 778G so far only used by Fairphone 5. The processor will be accompanied by 8 GB RAM and 256 GB of internal memory, and a 4800 mAh battery can be charged with a power of 30 W.
HMD Fusion measures 164 x 76 x 8.6 mm, weighs 200 g and is made of recycled plastic and aluminum. It also has Wi-Fi 6E connectivity and a 3.5 mm minijack socket, but the main attraction is the Pogo Pin connector - it is with its help that you will be able to connect various modules, such as gamer buttons, a payment terminal or a larger battery. We can expect the premiere of HMD Fusion this summer.
