Redmi 13 5G has a familiar, characteristic styling and three housing colours to choose from: black, blue and silver. The smartphone is based on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 AE processor - the note means "Accelerated Edition", i.e. a variant with a clock speed increased to 2.3 GHz. The processor is supported by LPDDR4X and UFS 2.2 memory, and there is also a microSD card slot. The device is powered by a 5030 mAh battery with 33-watt charging. The front is occupied by an LCD display with a diagonal of 6.79 inches, Full HD+ resolution and 120 Hz image refresh rate, covered with Gorilla Glass 3.
There is a hole in the screen for a 13-megapixel selfie camera (f/2.0). The main camera is a 108-megapixel Samsung ISOCELL HM6 matrix with an f/1.75 aperture lens, supported by a 2-megapixel macro camera. The smartphone also has a mkinijack and a side fingerprint reader, and the system is Android 14 with HyperOS overlay and the promise of two version updates. The housing protects the interior against dust and moisture at the IP53 level. For now, the smartphone is available in India in 6+128 and 8+128 GB versions for 14,000 and 15,500 rupees, i.e. 170-185 dollars.
