Realme Narzo N63 presented last month has just been joined by another model, in a different style and with slightly different parameters. To a large extent, it is a more modest model, but the low price is not its only advantage.
The new Narzo's changed design could be an advantage or a disadvantage, depending on your opinion of low-budget iPhone imitations. Unlike Realme Narzo N63, Realme Narzo N61 no longer pretends to be an Apple smartphone, although on the front it still has the Mini Capsule 2.0 notification bar growing from the camera, inspired by Dynamic Island. In this case, it protrudes from the drop notch, so it is difficult to confuse this phone with an iPhone from both the front and back...
The vertical island with two cameras makes Realme Narzo N61 similar to many mid-range Android smartphones, although their parameters are much more modest - for photos there is a 32 Mpx main camera and an auxiliary element, the parameters of which are not praised by the manufacturer, so you can guess that it is a background blurr with a resolution not exceeding 2 Mpx. On the front, we have a 32 Mpx selfie camera. In terms of photography, it is more modest than in the case of Realme Narzo N63, but the screen is the same in both cases - 6.74-inch LCD with HD+ resolution with 90 Hz refresh rate. There is the same Unisoc T612 processor and Android 14 with Realme UI overlay, as well as a 5000 mAh battery. Unfortunately, Realme Narzo N61 can only be charged with a power of 10 W, but the memory set looks better - the better-equipped variant offers 6 GB RAM and 128 GB of internal memory, which can be expanded by 1 TB with a microSD card. Both smartphones offer IP54 tightness.
Realme Narzo N61 is currently available in India in a blue or black color variant, and its price is 7,499 rupees (approx. $90, 83 €) for the 4+64 GB option or 8,499 rupees (100 $, 94 €) for the 6+128 GB variant.
