The leaks have been confirmed - the Samsung Galaxy M55s has just gone on sale with very familiar parameters... but this time it's not bad news.
Official information confirms that Samsung Galaxy M55s has a rather original exterior for Samsung and good mid-range parameters. Its processor is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 1, the 5000 mAh battery can be charged decently quickly at 45 W, and the main 50 Mpx camera with OIS, 8 Mpx wide-angle, 2 Mpx for macro and a 50 Mpx front camera for selfies in a hole will be used for photos. Its display is a 6.7-inch AMOLED with FHD+ resolution, 120 Hz refresh rate and 1000 nits brightness, and in addition to this, the smartphone is equipped with NFC, 5G connectivity, Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.2, and the operating system is Android 14 with One UI 6.1.
Overall, the specifications of the new Galaxy M55s are identical to the previously shown Galaxy M55 5G and Galaxy F55... but apart from the new look, the Samsung Galaxy M55s also stands out for its price. Galaxy M55 5G with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage was priced at 26,999 rupees (about $325, €290) at launch, while the Galaxy M55s is priced at just 19,999 rupees ($240, €215). That's a very attractive change, although it's not yet known whether the smartphone will go on sale outside India.
