It is possible that Meizu 21 will not see a direct successor, but its manufacturer is not idle. Is the new cheap smartphone better than the Meizu mBlu 10s presented two years ago?
Looking at the official renders on the manufacturer's website, you can see that the new smartphone from the mBlu series has changed its style, but not necessarily its inspiration - mBlu 10s pretended to be the basic iPhone 15 model, and the new mBlu 21 imitates the iPhone 16 with vertically positioned cameras. The previous mBlu model also had a wide notch on the front in the style of the iPhone 14, but the mBlu 21 has a more typical selfie camera in the hole.

The mBlu 21's specification has also changed, although not entirely for the better. Its display is a larger 6.79-inch LCD IPS with HD+ resolution and smoother refresh, but the main camera is only 13 Mpx. There is no macro camera anymore, but there is a 2 Mpx depth sensor and an 8 Mpx front camera. Inside, there is a Unisoc T606 processor, a 4900 mAh battery, 4 or 6 GB RAM and 64 or 128 GB of internal memory, which can be expanded with a microSD card. The operating system is Android 14.
mBlu 21 is currently available for purchase at a price of 9,900 rubles, which translates to $88, €83.
