Huawei announced today the launch of the announced flip phone with an unusual format. Here is Huawei Pura X!
Huawei Pura X is a flip smartphone with unusual proportions. When unfolded, the internal screen of the smartphone is surprisingly - for this class - wide, but less elongated than in typical flip phones with flexible screens. Its format is closer to a tablet than a typical smartphone format. The internal LTPO OLED display has a diagonal of 6.3 inches and a resolution of 1320 x 2120 px and a refresh rate of 120 Hz. On the outside of the flip, we find a 3.5-inch, quite functional, square auxiliary screen with a resolution of 980 x 980 px.

Above this screen is a very large - for a flip - set of cameras. It includes a 50 Mpx main camera with an f/1.6 aperture and optical stabilization, as well as a 40 Mpx wide-angle camera with an f/2.2 aperture. There is also an 8-megapixel camera with a 3.5x telephoto lens, optical stabilization and an f/2.4 aperture. The smartphone also has a light spectrum sensor and laser autofocus, while on the inside of the flip there is another 10.7-megapixel selfie camera with an f/2.2 aperture.

It is not known what processor powers the Huawei Pura X, but it is known that the battery has a capacity of 4720 mAh, 40-watt wired charging, and induction and reverse charging. The housing has IPX8 seals and can be finished with glass or leather. Dimensions of the folded smartphone: 91.7x74.3x15.1 mm, and unfolded: 143.2x91.7x7.15 mm. The weight varies depending on the design - the leather version weighs 193.7, and the glass - 195.9 g. One of the versions also offers satellite connectivity. The smartphone comes in five colours and four memory versions: 12+256, 12+512, 16+512 GB and 16 GB + 1 TB. Prices start at 7499 yuan, or $1040.
