Honor is preparing to launch more budget smartphones. This time, the related models will be the Honor X5c and Honor X5c Plus.
Both models have already appeared in certifications, but for now, we only have official information about the Honor X5c smartphone. Both models will support LTE networks and will be powered by a MediaTek Helio G81 processor, supported by modest 4+64 or 4+128 GB of RAM. As befits budget-friendly smartphones, there will be plenty of space for a microSD card. And – again, as befits a budget phone – we'll see 6.74-inch LCD screens running only in HD+ resolution, but with a 90Hz refresh rate. The screen features an old-fashioned notch for a 5-megapixel selfie camera, and the operating system runs Android 15 with MagicOS 9.0. Power in the base model is provided by a 5130 mAh battery with 15-watt charging, while the main camera has a 13-megapixel sensor, an f/2.2 aperture, and an additional background blur function. The smartphone also has a side-mounted fingerprint reader and a minijack, and the housing is available in three colours.

Information about the Honor X5c Plus is currently unofficial, but we do know that it has the same screen and processor as the base version. The Plus, however, has a larger battery with a decent capacity of 5620 mAh, but unfortunately only with 10-watt charging. It also has a slightly better 50-megapixel main camera, accompanied by a 2-megapixel background blur sensor. The device is expected to cost around $140. The base model should be slightly cheaper, but Honor has not yet announced the price.
