The much-anticipated Realme 15x 5G has officially launched. How much is it priced and what does the new Realme 15x 5G offer?
Realme 15x 5G isn't an expensive smartphone, yet it's configured sensibly, though without any extravagance. First of all, it has a large 7000 mAh battery that charges at 60W and offers 6.5W reverse charging. There's also bypass charging, and the manufacturer guarantees a battery life of at least 1,600 charge cycles. Furthermore, the smartphone has a rather unusual 6.8-inch LCD screen. On the one hand, it reaches a brightness of 1,600 nits and refreshes the image at a rate of 144 Hz, on the other, it runs in HD+ resolution. It's strange, to say the least.

The heart of the smartphone is the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 processor, supported by 8GB of 256GB of memory, which may not provide blazing-fast performance, but should be sufficient. There's also a microSD card slot and a minijack output, as well as a side-mounted fingerprint reader. The smartphone also has a multi-color notification light next to the camera. This one has a 50-megapixel Sony IMX852 1/2.93" sensor with an f/1.8 aperture and a 76-degree field of view. Next to it lurks a cover and some unlabeled sensor, likely a flicker or brightness sensor. There's also a 50-megapixel selfie camera on the front, but it's an OmniVision OV50D40 with a 1/2.88" sensor, an f/2.4 aperture, and an 87-degree field of view.

The smartphone offers increased durability and IP69 Pro waterproofing, with the option to operate the screen with a wet hand and remove water from the speaker. Android 15 with Realme UI 6.0 and an AI photo editor is the operating system. The 166.07 x 77.93 x 8.28 mm casing is available in three colours, and the entire smartphone weighs 212 g. Two memory variants are planned: 6+128 GB and 8+128 GB, priced at 17,000 and 18,000 rupees, respectively, or $192-203.
