The Tecno's much-anticipated mid-ranger, Tecno Spark 50 5G, has arrived in India. What does it offer?
Tecno Spark 50 5G has an interestingly styled and quite attractive casing, available in four colors. An interesting touch is the horizontal camera bezel, somewhat reminiscent of the Pixel. The casing has received MIL-STD 810H durability certification and an IP64 water resistance rating. The heart of the smartphone is the MediaTek Dimensity 6400 processor supported by LPDDR4X and UFS 2.2 memory, and powered by Android 16 with the HiOS 16 interface. Power is provided by a 6500 mAh battery with 45-watt charging.

Tecno Spark 50 5G features an 8-megapixel selfie camera and a 50-megapixel rear camera, as well as a side-mounted fingerprint reader and a minijack. An interesting feature is the "No Network Communication" solution, which provides walkie-talkie-style connectivity, but only between select Tecno models. Tecno Spark 50 5G is available in India at stores on Flipkart and Amazon. Prices are 17,000 rupees for the 4+128 GB version and 19,000 rupees for the 6+128 GB variant. Converted, that's $180-205.
