From April 17 AT & T starts selling the first smartphone in the tariff GoPhone. Simultaneously, the same model under a different name will be in subscription offerings. LG Thrive and LG Phoenix are running Android 2.2.
Wherever there are operator's retail stores, AT & T customers will be able to buy a phone without signing a long term contract. Apart from different colour schemes presented on the photographs and AT & T calling plan, LG Thrive and LG Phoenix do not differ in any detail in the technical specifications; in other words - it's the same phone sold under different names.
A simple touch-screen smartphone with diagonal 3.2 ", 320x480 pixel resolution and 600 MHz processor, will handle 7.2 Mbps HSDPA, navigation, and local data transfer via USB, Bluetooth and WiFi. Thrive and Phoenix have a 3, 2 megapixel camera, and the battery - 1500 mAh capacity.

The operator expands 160 MB internal memory by adding in box 2GB card, but of course you can zoom in up to 32 GB. You will be able to enjoy all the blessings associated with Android, which will be further enhanced with provider's web services for the region's typical sale.
AT&T will be selling LG Thrive in GoPhone plan for $179.99. The LG Phoenix will be available for $49.99 and requires a two-year agreement.
