For some time, some users of Samsung Galaxy S III have been complaining about the sudden collapse of the phone, which makes it a useless thing. Samsung has pointed out the problem and is preparing the solution.
Services in Europe have reported cases of sudden death of Samsung Galaxy S III. Some models after charging, turn off, or not used for some time, became deaf to all attempts of communication by offering only a dark screen. Samsung so far serviced for free all such cases replacing the motherboard, but there are voices that the error lies deeper and the new board after some time will be damaged.
The Dutch service Tweakers managed to talk to the local branch of Samsung, whose spokeswoman, Anne ter Braak, today announced that a small batch of devices with 16 GB of memory was crashed, and the cause of defects will be easily removed by updating the firmware.
Unfortunately the spokeswoman did not provide even an approximate date of the output patch (or patches), but assured that they will be prepared as soon as possible.
On the plus side one need to say that the manufacturer is not trying to sweep things under the rug and dies not make any problems with warranty repairs admitting that it is necessary to patch the software. These types of faults however never reflect positively on the image of the company. - And what about your Galaxy S III? Have you had any problems?
