After the launch of Redmi A7 Pro in LTE, it's time for its faster network variant - Redmi A7 Pro 5G. What does it offer?
The Redmi A7 Pro LTE version debuted quite recently, and now it's joined by the Redmi A7 Pro 5G. It has a similarly sized 6.9-inch LCD screen, unfortunately with HD+ resolution, though with a 120 Hz refresh rate and up to 800 nits of brightness. The smartphone is powered by a Unisoc T8300 processor, supported by 4 GB of LPDDR4X RAM and up to 128 GB of UFS 2.2 internal memory, which can be expanded with a microSD card. A 6300 mAh battery, slightly larger than the LTE model, powers the smartphone. The battery charges at 15W and offers 7.5W reverse charging. The selfie camera remains 8-megapixel, but a more powerful 32-megapixel main camera is now mounted on the rear. The operating system runs Android 16 with HyperOS 3, promising four updates and six years of security support. The smartphone also has a minijack, a side-mounted fingerprint reader, and IP52 waterproofing. There are three body colours to choose from and two memory configurations – 4, 64, and 4, 128 GB. Their prices in India are 11,500 and 12,500 rupees, or $125-135.
