The long-announced Realme's budget smartphone has officially launched. The Realme Narzo 100 Lite combines both good and bad features.
The contradictions in the Realme Narzo 100 Lite are already evident on its 6.8-inch screen. On the one hand, it refreshes the image at 144 Hz, offering a brightness of 900 nits, which is quite good for LCD technology, and has a relatively narrow bezel. On the other hand, it operates in HD+ resolution and has an unfashionable, teardrop notch at the top for a mere 5-megapixel selfie camera (f/2.2). The rear camera is only slightly better – it has the same aperture but 13 megapixels. At the heart of the smartphone is a capable MediaTek Dimensity 6300 processor, supported by LPDDR4x RAM (4 or 6 GB), but internal storage is only eMMC 5.1 in capacities of 64 or 128 GB, thankfully expandable with a microSD card. The 7000 mAh battery looks much better, but unfortunately it charges at only 15 W. The smartphone can be appreciated for its IP64 tightness class and the presence of a minijack connector, as well as the fresh Android 16 system with the Realme UI 7.0 interface. It is also worth paying attention to the similarity of the new Realme budget phone to the already known Realme P4 Lite 5G and Realme C83 5G. Realme Narzo 100 Lite is now available in India in the following variants:
- 4+64GB - 13,500 rupees, $145
- 4+128GB - 14,500 rupees, $155
- 6+128GB - 16,500 rupees, $180
