The recently announced Tecno Spark 50 5G is now joined by the Tecno Spark 50 in an LTE variant. What does it offer?
While the Tecno Spark 50 5G resembles the Pixel in its design, the new Tecno Spark 50 LTE is inspired by the iPhone's appearance. And that's just the beginning of the differences. The new model is based on the MediaTek Helio G81 processor, but has a larger 7000 mAh battery with 18-watt charging. The cameras, however, are the same as in the 5G model – 8 megapixels on the front and 50 on the rear. The display is also similar: a 6.78-inch LCD with a 120 Hz refresh rate, but unfortunately, it operates in HD+ resolution. The dimensions of the LTE version are similar to those of the 5G variant, measuring 167.8 x 79.22 x 8.18 mm. The smartphone also has an infrared transmitter, IP64 waterproofing, and resistance to drops from a height of 1.8 m. Furthermore, this model is equipped with FreeLink 2.0 off-network connectivity, which works like a walkie-talkie at a distance of up to 1.5 km, but only between compatible smartphones. There are five housing colors to choose from, as well as three memory kits: 4+128, 6+128, and 8+256 GB. Prices are not yet known.
