CES 2013 - Lenovo novelties

If I am not mistaken in the accounts, Lenovo showed in Las Vegas six wort attention smartphones with Android, two S-IdeaPhone - S720 and S890, models Lenovo P770, A800, A690 and a flagship model: Intel-based K900.

Although Lenovo products rarely host in the European and American stores, it’s worth seeing how the Chinese company this year will attempt to conquer the world. In the era of globalization, the purchase of the phone in China is not a problem, and specifications of all the presented models inform that the operating system is available in a wide selection of languages.

The S-series are - according to the manufacturer - smart phones designed for multimedia and entertainment. Models are designed specifically for young professionals. In this series two models appeared at CES:

The camera is supported by flash LED, and a user can edit both still images and movies with special Lenovo camera software. All of these functions are packed into a super-slim (9.3mm, .36-inch) and lightweight (176g, 6.2 ounces) package. For the full picture is worth noting that the device is running a 1.2 GHz MediaTek MT6577 processor, has 1 GHz RAM and 4 GB of internal memory.

The rear camera has an 8 megapixel matrix, in front there is a camera for video calls. All of this is packed into a slim, 9.9mm (.39-inch) package.

In addition to native anti-virus software, the smartphone includes support for two SIM cards. The display has 4.5-inch, qHD resolution, and in the casing there is also 1.2 GHz MediaTek processor, but the camera has a slightly poorer matrix than their predecessors with 5 megapixels.

A-series models for Lenovo, feature advanced smartphone functions at an affordable price for new users and the budget-conscious. There were shown two devices:

A690 - is by far the poorest relative from the family. Its processor runs at 1 GHz, has a 4-inch display and runs at a resolution of 480x800 pixels. Here, too, we find a dual-SIM functionality.

ZThe flagship model K900 with the dual-core Intel Atom processor was completely beyond any competition at CES 2013. The sleek design has a thickness of 6.9 mm and the smartphone weighs 162 grams. The enclosure is made of stainless steel and polycarbonate. The device has a crisp, clear profile, quite unlike the other models of Lenovo.

Lenovo showed in Las Vegas a lot of very similar phones with different software, Lenovo K900 is the star outstanding from the crowd of smartphone grays. In spring there will be probably the first tests.
