When I wrote yesterday about the leaking LG novelties before MWC, I did not expect that today there will be the next one. The Korean giant doesn’t want to be forgotten, and shows us the Optimusa G Pro.
Although at once it was stated that the official launch of the smartphone will be in Barcelona after February 25, there was revealed a lot of data on the new model and also it was shown how it looks like. I have to admit that there will be something to look at - literally. Optimus G Pro will receive a 5.5-inch Full HD display with pixel density of 401 ppi. The screen is surrounded by a very slender frame, and to protect the glass it will have curved edges, which LG has named as "2,5 D effect" - that is - in concept - giving the impression of depth. Furthermore, we know that the phone will receive 2 GB of memory and two cameras. These ones - although we do not know for sure – shouldn’t have less than 13 and 2 megapixels. Similarly can be said in case of the memory. There shouldn’t be less than 32 GB, of course, with the option to increase with a microSD card. LG did not reveal which processor goes to the G Pro. Experts bet on a 1.7 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro APQ8064, supported by Adreno 320 graphics. Instead, the processor data, the manufacturer said that the phone will be produced in black and white casing. For more data we have to wait a little over a week. And I'm afraid to think what LG will show us in the coming days...
