ZTE Geek is the first smartphone of the Chinese manufacturer designed powered by Intel’s new 32nm Atom Z2580 processor. Its launch took at the Intel Developer Forum at the China National Convention Center in Beijing.
ZTE Geek smartphone has a 5-inch HD display (720x1280 pixels), a set of memory 1 GB RAM + 8 GB eMMC, and a camera with 8 megapixels AF matrix and flash LED and 1 megapixel front camera for video calls.
The heart of the smartphone is the impressing with power processor Intel 32 nm Atom Z2580 operating at 2 GHz. ZTE citing conducted tests indicates that Clover Trail+ processor does the calculation twice as fast, three times faster processes graphics than the previous Intel mobile CPU, and has a much smaller appetite for energy.

The version of ZTE Geek smartphone presented at the conference had in specification the service of three GSM network frequencies, two UMTS (900, 2100 MHz), Android Jelly Bean as an operating system and a battery with a capacity of 2300 mAh. There is almost a complete (missing HDMI, although it may be MHL) set of interfaces for local communication including the ability to launch mobile hotspot. Among sensors there appeared accelerometer sensor, proximity sensor and light, compass and gyroscope.
The manufacturer has not specified the event or release date or expected price of the smartphone.
