Several weeks ago we wrote about the smartphone ZTE Geek with an Intel processor. Today Geek is back - but as the world's first phone with NVIDIA Tegra 4.
Information about modified Geek first appeared in China's TENAA certification database, and soon after it was confirmed by the manufacturer. According to its information, the model Geek U988S with the new Tegra is a version exclusively for China Mobile. The new quad-core processor receives 1.8 GHz clock and 2 GB of RAM. The processor is not the only change in U988S. Another is a change in the screen resolution - from 1280x720 to 1920x1080 pixels. The front camera would be also better: 2 - in place of the one-megapixel. Unfortunately, as I mentioned, the phone will be distributed only in the network TD-SCDMA of China Mobile.
