We have been hearing for a couple of weeks about the more resistant variant of Samsung Galaxy S4, but now we can see how it looks. The smartphone on the technical side is no different from the usual model, but it will have a completely different casing.
On the technical side, the most significant of the differences mentioned in the leak will be an 8-megapixel camera in place of the 13-megapixel in the original one. As for the display, the information is a little inaccurate. On the one hand, it is mentioned that S4 Active (I9295) has a 5-inch Full HD, on the other hand the matrix density at 480 ppi could suggest that the screen is, however, somewhat smaller. It is a pity that no one attempted to take a picture of the two models side by side - then everything would be clear. The source also mentions the processor. It is to be still a 1.9 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 600 and Adreno 320 graphics.

The main advantage of the new model to be a high-strength casing, being also waterproof. You can see that casing will continue to be made of plastic, but there will be also metal screws connecting the phone to a whole, as well as three hardware buttons below the screen. Unfortunately, we can forget about the full water resistance. The phone will be protected only against accidental, momentary wetting.
At the moment, there is lack of any official information about Galaxy S4 Active, but the photos reportedly made in Croatia clearly imply that the release will be soon.
