The Nokia's idea for a campaign in the leaks is nothing new, but apparently it results because the expected smartphone raises hopes and emotions. Nokia Lumia 1020 appeared in the official press images in three colours.
All the details will be announced probably on July 11, the day after tomorrow, but such a leak before the release has a taste of a forbidden fruit. The launch of Nokia EOS with a 41 MP matrix will be held in New York, and Windows Phone Central suggests with the posted photos that journalists will get in hands copies in white, black and yellow.

EOS is probably the codename for Nokia Lumia 1020, Elvis is also the codename of the model, but for AT&T. The rumours about the model with a designation Lumia 909 introduced some confusion recently. The official division of names and numbers will be presented as early as Thursday.
For now, the source service confirms some of the specification by adding a few more details. In conclusion, we know so much about Nokia EOS:
- It has optical image stabilization (OIS) built in
- It takes the image in a 32MP and 5MP at the same time in 16:9
- The 5MP image is over sampled dropping 7pixels into one "super pixel"
- It shoots 38MP in 4:3
- "Nokia 909" was an early name for it but it will be "Lumia 1020" for release
- 2GB of RAM, an increase of 1GB from other high end Windows Phone 8 devices
- 32GB of internal storage, no SD
- WP8 V 8.0.10322.71
- FM radio (Amber)
- NFC is on board
- Flip to silence (Amber)
- 24. Optional wireless charging backplate will be available
Compared to my favorite current photographic Nokia PureView, Lumia 1020 has been enhanced primarily by OIS, so that there is a chance for even better pics. This technology has the market implementations, because Lumia 920, Lumia 925 and Lumia 928 have it. The addition of extra RAM is of considerable importance in maintaining the system and applications, if the system will actually be able to use it. Remembering the limitations of older versions of Microsoft's desktop we can have a reasonable doubt.
Pro Camera app will offer users possibility of adjusting ISO sensitivity, white balance, shutter speed, flash. There will be also a manual focus. Keep in mind that the resolution of 41 MP is the nominal value and not working one. This means more or less that this value determines the size of the entire array, not images. Photos because of physical necessity must be smaller both in terms of 4:3 (see above) and 16:9.
WP Central prophesies that the version of Nokia Lumia 1020 for AT&T will be offered later this month. When will the global version be available? We hope that Nokia does not makes us wait too long.
