We already know that the Redmi 17 4G and Redmi 17 5G will be available in Poland, and now, thanks to their launch in a Malaysian store, we can compare their prices.
Redmi 17 4G and Redmi 17 5G have a lot in common. Both models are budget smartphones with one particularly attractive feature: a 7500 mAh battery that charges at 45W. Both also feature a large 6.9-inch display with a resolution of 1600 x 720 px, a 120 Hz refresh rate, and a peak brightness of 825 nits, protected by Corning Corilla Glass 7i. They feature a 50 Mpx rear camera and an 8 Mpx front-facing selfie camera. Both also feature a color-changing RGB LED on the back for notifications.
The difference between the two smartphones is the processor, memory options, and colour options. The Redmi 17 4G is powered by a MediaTek Helio G91-Ultra processor and is available in black, Lotus Purple, and dark green Oak Green with gold accents. The Redmi 17 5G offers 5G connectivity thanks to the Snapdragon 4 Gen 5 processor. In addition to black, it also comes in Deep Blue and Vivid Orange, a leather-effect orange. Prices for the individual Redmi 17 4G and 5G variants in Malaysia are as follows:
