On the network there appeared another photo of the new HTC flagship, hiding under the codename M8. The phone, which will probably hit the market under the name of One+, it looks almost the same as the device shown in the earlier "spy" photos. We can therefore assume that the final appearance can be very similar.
In the last of the pictures we can see the phone in a protective pouch. M8 resembles the original, which is HTC One. It is visible that the system buttons are all now part of the screen, although the screen seems to have a similar size as before. Unfortunately, it is difficult to verify the authenticity of any photos, especially that on closer inspection we see that these buttons on the screen may be the work of medium capable graphics. On the other hand, report Evan Blass from @evleaks also suggests that the new HTC flagship will have virtual buttons Home, Menu and Back. @evleaks writes about them listing the specification of a smaller variant of M8, or Mini. In addition to the buttons, @evleaks mentions a 1.4 GHz quad-core processor, 1 GB of RAM and 16 GB memory with a microSD socket. M8 Mini is to have a 4.5-inch HD display, a 13-megapixel camera and a 5-megapixel webcam, and android KitKat with Sense 6.0. The specification of the large M8 - apart from the display - might be similar.
