HP introduces on the Indian market a very interesting, 6-inch phablet available for a very reasonable price. Slate 6 VoiceTab II is a microtablet which enables the use of voice and data on two SIM cards.
The equipment positively stands out against DualSIM competitors with large screens. The unit received a casing with pleasing shapes, and a quite reasonable specification. The heart of Slate 6 VoiceTab II is a 1.2 GHz quad core Marvell PXA1088 CPU, supported by 1 GB of RAM. The equipment runs Android 4.4 KitKat and has 16 GB of internal memory which can be enlarged with a microSD card. On board there are also two cameras (8 and 2 megapixels), a battery with a capacity of 3000 mAh and all standard communication modules - but unfortunately without LTE. There are stereo speakers with DTS. The 6-inch IPS screen has a resolution of 1280x720 pixels while, brightness of 380 nits and 245 ppi density factor. As we can see, this is not impressive statement - but when we combine it with the price of $ 260, all together begins to make sense. Unfortunately, HP does not plan to offer this equipment outside India - at least for now.
