A visit at the stand of another Polish company - MaxCom was for me quite a big surprise. It turned out that the manufacturer associated mainly with simple phones for seniors significantly expanded its offer.
In the gallery at the end of this news you will find details of the new (and slightly older...) models from Maxcom. Before you read it, I turn your attention to a few models...
MM237 is an interesting representative of endangered species FeaturePhone. It's a classic mobile, far better equipped than a typical "phone for grandpas". The phone has a nice casing with a metal battery cover, pleasing to the eye and at the same time clear menu and a mechanical keyboard. This is a great equipment for someone who does not feel a senior, while has an aversion to touch displays. The weaker part of this model is a camera, but the manufacturer's representative assured that it will soon be replaced by a better one.
MS51 is a smartphone, which soon will hit the store shelves. The design isn't maybe advanced - but neatly made and inexpensive. It is also worth looking at the models with increased strength - MM901 and MM910. These specific designs prove themselves in difficult circumstances - and as you can see they are really waterproof. The MM822 is a clamshell phone with a distinctive styling. For a neat appearance of the phone were responsible designers, creating every day for Solaris, producing world famous buses and trams.
The most important exposure model is MaxCom MS410. It is an android smartphone with a special interface adapted for older users. It is worth noting that the Polish MaxCom is one of few companies at the MWC presenting this type of phone. Its important feature - beyond simple interface - is the ability to remotely manage it from a PC. As a result, when an older user will have a problem with the configuration of the phone – he will be able to ask for help from a more literate family member. Even if he will be thousands of miles away...
