A little over a month ago we gossiped about new Samsung phones from Series J. Then - it was only a rumour - but we have already specifics. Samsung Galaxy J5 and J7 appeared in the Chinese-based certifier TENAA, and this means that their market launch is fast approaching.
The models described by carry the logo of the local network of China Mobile, which indicates that perhaps they will appear in this country in the first place. It should be presumed that Galaxy J5 SM-J5008 and Galaxy J7 SM-J5008 refer to the versions designed for China Mobile. The global varieties of the phones may differ slightly from them... From the TENAA information results that smartphones are closely related, and differ only in screen size and timing of the CPU. In J5 we are talking about 1.2 GHz, and in J7 - 1.4 GHz. Unfortunately, TENAA does not specify the type of system used. Both models will be powered by octa-core processors that will support 1.5 GB of RAM. In both we find support for LTE, 16GB of internal memory and a microSD card slot. Both phones will have mounted the front camera with 5 megapixels, while at the back there will be 8-megapixel cameras with LED flash. J5 and J7 run under Android 5.0.2 Lollipop. Galaxy J5 has a 5-inch HD display, and the dimensions of its housing are 142 x 73 x 8.5 mm. On the other hand Galaxy J7 a 5.5 inch HD display, measuring 152.4 x 79.2 x 7.9 mm.

In the background of information about new series Galaxy J, there is even a mention of a new Samsung tablet, hiding under the codename Chopin-LTE. This device is based on 64-bit, quad-core Intel Atom x5-8500 processor clocked at 2.24 GHz, aided by 4 GB of RAM. Unfortunately, this is so far the only information we have on this tablet - next should appear in the coming weeks.
