Today, in Beijing there was the official launch of two smartphones from Gionee Elife E8 and Marathon M5. There were given the prices and the date of the market launch. It is true that we were not there, but we saw a direct relation.
The specifications of both smartphones were already partly known. Elife E8 is a 6-inch flagship with a QHD AMOLED display, working under the supervision of MediaTek Helio X10, with 3 GB of RAM, 64 GB of memory falsh ROM, and supports cards up to 128 GB. It has a main camera with a matrix of 23.8 MP and a front one - 8 MP.

Gionee Marathon M5 is a 5.5-inch smartphone with a 720p display and a record battery with two batteries with a capacity of 6020 mAh with a thickness of only 8.6 mm.

The cheaper Marathon M5 will cost 2,299 yuan, while the flagship Elife E8 - 3999 yuan. The first will go on sale on June 25, and the second, unfortunately, until July 15 - of course in China. The date of the global market launch hasn't been given, but we have just written about Allview X2 Xtreme, which is a rebranded Elife E8. The presale of this version of the Gionee flagship will begin in a moment, but the smartphone will be available in August. Probably global sales of Elife E8 is also planned for August.
