Kyocera presented an inexpensive smartphone Hydro Wave. The phone will be available in the US through T-Mobile and MetroPCS.
Kyocera Hydro Wave has a fairly modest specification. It includes a 5-inch screen with a resolution of 540x960 pixels and a 1.2GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 410, supported by a gigabyte of RAM. The phone has received 8 GB of internal memory, a microSD card slot and a battery with a capacity of 2300 mAh. Kyocera Hydro Wave supports LTE network, but it will not have too impressive photographic equipment. It has a 5-megapixel rear camera and a 2-megapixel front webcam. The device runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop, and its most important asset is being dustproof and waterproof (IP57).
Kyocera Hydro Wave will be sold by selected US networks for $ 150 - the option without a contract. The buyers who binds to the operator for a longer time have a chance to get this phone without subsidies – with the subscription.
