Samsung surprised us with another quiet launch. Without any fanfare it improved Galaxy Tab A, adding it... a stylus, so far reserved for more expensive models. Samsung Galaxy Tab A & S Pen has been announced by the French-Belgian branch of the group.

Samsung Galaxy Tab A & S Pen, which is the SM-P550N, has a 9.7-inch screen with a resolution of 1024x768 pixels. Its heart is a quad-core Ziilabs ZMS-08 with a clock of 1.2 GHz, supported by 2 GB of RAM. On board of the tablet there will also be 16GB of internal memory, which can be enlarged with a microSD card of 128 GB. There is also a 5-megapixel camera in company of a 2 megapixel front webcam. The power supply provides a battery with a capacity of 6000 mAh, while connectivity is possible via Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n. Unfortunately, Tab A in a version with a stylus will not have a variant equipped with an LTE modem. The price of Galaxy Tab A & S Pen is 339 euro.
