How much can cost the cheapest smartphone in the world? What would you say for a phone for the equivalent of $ 4? And it's a quite bearable phone?
The device called Freedom 251 will be offered in India, and its ridiculously low price is due to the fact that the project received a grant from the government. With the support of the state, the phone will be available in June. If for this price you expect the tragic parameters, you are wrong. The smartphone is certainly not stunning, but actually, for this price - is pretty good. It has a 4-inch IPS screen with a resolution of 960 x 540 pixels and a quad-core processor with 1.3 GHz, supported by a gigabyte of RAM. On board there will also be 8 GB of internal memory, a microSD card slot and a battery with a capacity of 1450 mAh. The phone even has two cameras: a 3.2-megapixel rear and a VGA front. The device supports 3G networks and is running Android 5.1. Unfortunatally, we do not know how much Freedom 251 would have cost without government subsidies.
