For now, only the Korean LG news press service announced three new models, which will support the X series. It is difficult to write about their names, because there are no English versions, but they will most probably be: LG X5, X Power and X Skin.
It is difficult to talk about full specifications, but the manufacturer provided a few details concerning technicalities, at the same time reminding that the X series are low-end smartphones with a character. Each model in this series should distinguish itself with a particular feature.
LG X5 is a thin and a light device for a 5.5-inch HD display. With dimensions of 151.6x76.9x7.2mm it weighs 133 grams. It runs on a quad-core SoC CPU with 1.3GHz, it has 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal memory, which can be enhanced with microSD cards of up to 32GB. The front camera has a matrix of 5 megapixels and the main one – 13. It is powered by a 2800 mAh cell.

When it comes to X5 it is difficult to show any unique features, but LG X Power has its name thanks to a 4100 mAh battery. This is a large cell in this class of smartphones. Its dimensions are 148.9x74.9x7.9mm and it weighs 139 grams. The 5.3-inch display offers an HD resolution (720x1280 pixels). Here we can find a 1.3GHz CPU with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of flash ROM, just like in the model above, but in this case the manufacturer provides support for cards of up to 2TB. Cameras remain the same – 13+5 megapixels.

The thinnest and technically weakest smartphone of them all - LG X Skin - is only 6.9mm thick. Full dimensions are 144.8x71.4x6.9mm with a weight of 122 grams. The display has 5 inches and it works in the HD resolution. The quad-core SoC CPU with 1.3GHz is accompanied by 1.5GB of RAM and 16GB of flash ROM with the support of cards of up to 32GB. The main camera has an 8-megapixel matrix and the front one – 5 megapixels. The device is powered by a 2100 mAh cell.

Each of these new smartphones from the X series works under Android 6.0 Marshmallow. They all support LTE and 802.11 b/g/n Wi-Fi – unfortunately, as you can see, without the 5GHz frequency. In each of them we will find the USB 2.0 interface and the Bluetooth in the 4.2 version, or when it comes to X Skin - in the 4.1 version.
Unfortunately, we do not have any information about the launch date and the availability at the moment.
