We have associated Sharp phones so far with an interesting styling and decent specifications, but it's probably past. A new Sharp M1 disappoints both technically and visually.
Sharp M1 does not have a stylish look of Aquoses - all agree that it resembles Xiaomi Mi 5. This does not mean that it is ugly - it just lacks that "something" which would differ it from competitors. The phone has a metal frame, curved glass at the back, and the case is found in several colours.

Sharp M1 has a 5.5-inch display with an FullHD resolution and an octa-core MediaTek MT6753 1.3 GHz processor supported by Mali-T720 graphics and 3GB of RAM. On the list of equipment we will find also a 32 GB internal memory, a microSD card slot up to 64 GB and the 2600 mAh battery. The cameras are interesting - both are 13-megapixel. The phone runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow, and the price of the device is $ 8,990 Taiwanese, or approx. $ 285.

As you can see, this is not a bad equipment, but not surprising either in appearance or in performance or in price. Could it be the effects of acquisition of the brand by Foxconn? It would be a pity if a brand loses, this what we have been associating so far the Sharp phones... Is this a new chapter in the history of this well-deserved brand?
