Alcatel Idol 4S with Windows has been for some time available in the US, but it looks like it will soon appear in Europe.
Announcing a European distribution of Idol 4S with Windows can properly be considered as official, though published in a somewhat informal manner: On Twitter. The information was given by the French branch of the company, without specifying, however, in which countries it exactly appears. There are only mentioned "some", clearly naming just France. It was not specified when this model would hit the shops, it is also unclear what factors influenced the decision of the manufacturer.

Alcatel Idol 4S Windows has a 5.5-inch AMOLED FullHD display with Dragontrail glass and a quad-core Snapdragon 820 clocked at 2.15 GHz, supported by 4 GB of RAM and Adreno 530 GPU. The internal memory is 64 GB, with an option to upgrade to 128 GB using a microSD card, while the power supply is the battery with a capacity of 3000 mAh with the fast charging mode Qualcomm Quick charge 3.0. The smartphone also received a fingerprint scanner, two speakers with a power of 1.2 W and two cameras. The front camera has 8 megapixels and wide-angle lens, and the rear – is a 21-megapixel Sony IMX230 with dual LED flash and PDAF. Alcatel Idol 4S Windows costs in the US $ 470, but it is not known whether in the European distribution this amount will be retained.
