YU has unveiled a new YU Yureka 2 model in India, with a metal casing and a nice specification, but with the old version of Android.

YU Yureka 2 even got a neat metal casing with a fingerprint reader on the back and a 5.5-inch Full HD screen on the front. The smartphone features an 8GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor clocked at 2 GHz, Adreno 506 graphics and 4 GB of RAM. The internal memory holds 64 GB and is expandable with a 128 GB microSD card, but in a hybrid slot, alternating with dualSIM.

YU Yureka 2 supports LTE and VoLTE, also has Bluetooth 4.0, dual band Wi-Fi and cameras with resolutions of 8 and 16 Mpx. The phone is powered by a 3930 mAh rechargeable battery and comes with an FM radio. The most interesting thing is that this pretty decent, mid-sized phone works under control of... Android 6.0. Not a single word about updating - but there is a shadow of a chance that the reported version of the system is the result of a mistake by the editor of the Flipkart store where the device is offered. The price is 11,999 rupees, which is $ 188.
