Oppo introduced the A79 model. The smartphone is similar with the looks to the flagship R11s, but has a weaker specification.
Oppo A79 has a metal casing and a 6-inch OLED screen with FullHD+ resolution and 18: 9 aspect ratio. The heart of the new model is an eight-core MediaTek Helio P23 processor, powered by 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal memory with the option of upgrading with a microSD card. The phone is powered by a 3000 mAh battery that can be charged in VooC mode.

Oppo A79, both at the front and back, has a 16 megapixel camera. However, the cameras differ with the optical units - the front has a f/2.0 aperture and the rear - f/1.8 aperture. The phone is complemented by a fingerprint reader and the casing will be available in champagne or black. The smartphone will receive Android 7.1.1 Nougat with Color OS 3.2 overlay. The price is 2399 yuan, or $ 364.
