New models from the Wildfire series revived by HTC debuted without much publicity in Russia. HTC Wildfire E1 and E1 Plus are budget constructions, but with a quite nice styling.
HTC Wildfire E1 and E1 Plus have identical dimensions and weight, as well as the same IPS displays with a 6.09-inch diameter and HD+ resolution (1560x720 px). In both cases, the screens have droplet notches for 5-megapixel selfie cameras equipped with f/2.2 aperture. Both models also have the same hearts - MediaTek Helio P23 processors with 3+32 GB memory support (with the option of using a microSD card).

Identical batteries with a capacity of 3000 mAh were also used in HTC Wildfire E1 and E1 Plus, both also have dual-band WiFi, LTE, Bluetooth 4.2, DualSIM and mini-jacks. So where is the difference? We'll find it in the rear camera. HTC Wildfire E1 has a 13-megapixel camera with f/2.2 aperture, while HTC Wildfire E1 Plus has a camera with the same aperture, but already 16-megapixel.

Smartphones also differ in the colours of the housings. Wildfire E1 Plus is shiny and comes in blue, black and cherry, while Wildfire E1 is matte and can be black or gold. HTC Wildfire E1 costs 8459 rubles (135 USD), while HTC Wildfire E1 Plus for now 8499 (136 USD), but ultimately it will cost 9999 rubles (160 USD). I have no idea why a better model is cheaper - it's possible that the prices are incorrect, or they were changed in the store...
